Deliver high-quality, maintainable code that addresses real-world manufacturing challenges
Lead end-to-end projects from requirements gathering and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
Bridge communication gaps between factory floor equipment (PLCs) and high-level MES services
Tackle problems across the stack from debugging PLC communications to ensuring data consistency in globally distributed databases
Mentor engineers and uphold global standards of excellence in software craftsmanship
Prioritize robust, production-critical systems with strong validation, monitoring, and support mechanisms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain

●
Bachelor's degree and professional license (cédula profesional)
●
5+ years of professional experience in backend or server-side development
●
Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar languages
●
Strong understanding of backend fundamentals including SQL databases, networking, and security
●
Basic familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Svelte
●
Proficiency in rigorous software development practices including version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
●
Familiarity with controls engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, and PLCs
●
Hands-on experience with Ignition and MES systems is a strong plus
●
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production
●
Hands-on experience with Ignition and MES systems
