What you'll do

Deliver high-quality, maintainable code that addresses real-world manufacturing challenges
Lead end-to-end projects from requirements gathering and architectural design through implementation, testing, and production deployment
Mentor engineers and uphold global standards of excellence in software craftsmanship
Prioritize robust, production-critical systems with strong validation, monitoring, and support mechanisms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain
Interact directly with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, scope, and implementation

What we're looking for

Relocation to the United States, Austin, Texas is required, TN Visa sponsorship provided
This opportunity is open to candidates based in Mexico with a valid Mexican passport and an active visa (tourist or otherwise)
Bachelor's degree and professional license (cédula profesional)
3+ years of professional experience in backend or server-side development.
Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Go
Proven track record delivering large-scale projects in Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
Very strong understanding of backend fundamentals including SQL databases, networking, and security
Comfortable with frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Svelte.
Proficiency in rigorous software development practices including version control, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept to production
Advanced English.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial tech, or enterprise systems
Familiarity with REST or gRPC API design
Background working with production-critical systems and on-call rotations
